JimJim Antunano, Jr.

Practice Manager

Ever the fair and unbiased decision maker, Jim Antunano oversees the day-to-day operations of Animal Medical Center in a way that fosters team building and positive client relations. "I enjoy the freedom of decision making which, along with the doctors' input, enables me to steer the practice in a successful direction to ensure that our pets receive the best care possible," he says. Jim earned his bachelor's degree in biology from the University of South Florida. He began working at our clinic in 1993, assuming the role of Practice Manager in August 2000.

Once a kennel technician and then a veterinary technician, Jim worked his way up through various positions at Animal Medical Center. After earning his Bachelor's Degree, he landed the role of practice manager. It has been a successful stop for both him and the practice. "Though I do not generally have direct contact with the pets, I feel I have a very important role in their health and well-being," he says. "It is my responsibility to set policies that ensure our patients receive the best possible care. We are also AAHA accredited and must abide by those strict standards, which provides an additional layer of assurance that we practice the highest quality veterinary medicine."

At home, Jim cares for his own two dogs, a black Labrador named Raven and a doberman named Duke. In his free time, he enjoys playing with them, spending time with his family, and watching NFL football on TV.
